Some things in May

There has been a bit of a blog slump over here. For no reason in particular. Sometimes it seems like too much work, sometimes I don't want to share things with lots of people, sometimes I just don't think about it at all. But I decided to document our May activities in this small form. Enjoy!
An afternoon at Simplot's Hill.
Penny being cheesy.
This picture is so scary. One little slip and G would have been Princess Bride right down the hill.
They both brought their Georges up the hill.
At least a few nights a week we make a visit over to the neighborhood construction site. Pure love for this boy.
Penny sporting her Burger King crown.
Graham has been super into Thomas lately. This is him trying to decide between the shirt or the hat. He sent this picture to Ryan to get his opinion. He decided on the hat.
Happy 8 year Anniversary to us!
Watching the ducks and jumping around at the park.
Picking up a few things for the yard.
Before the haircut.
After the haircut.
Enjoying a ride in the gutter.

A January walk

The weather has been getting nicer each day, week and month! We are so excited for Spring. Back in January we had a warm sunny day so we walked to the neighborhood park. I love my rain boot babies!

December festivities

Get ready for a lot of pictures of our December activities. It was a great month! The kids are definitely Christmas lovers.
Helping put the lights on the tree.
Playing with the nativity blocks.
And with the Christmas train.
Re-hanging ornaments.
Graham with his Graham cracker house!
Pen and Graham before Christmas church.

We had to bribe Graham to wear a bow tie.
Building snowmen up in Idaho City.
Playing at the playground in the snow.
Playing Angry Birds in the snow.

As you can tell we played in the snow on many occasions.

Christmas morning. He takes this Angry Bird Star Wars book everywhere he goes.
Mini drank her strawberry milk during all of the present opening. The milk was her favorite present.

Penny finally gets a campfire

Ryan put in our fire pit in April. We realized this Fall that Penny had never been awake for any of the fires this summer since we always waited till dark. It has been an awesome and warm November thus far so we have taken advantage and have had two campfires so far.
Drama when it comes to who sits where. This isn't even her chair.
But the little sister won out and got the chair.
The look on her face kills me, as if she is saying "this is what you wanted to show me? Seriously?"
I love their tiny little bodies, I want them to stay mini forever.
I finally got a smile.

A few nights ago we had some cousins over and had another fire.

Someone told a hilarious joke and Penny was feeling it. Or she is just cheesy like her mom.
Sweet little face!

Pumpkins and back in the blog saddle

Well... It has been a long blog break. But I'm here today to share so I guess that's something, right? :)
The kids have loved pumpkins the last few weeks. They can't get enough of them. As I blog they are hauling around the house organizing the pumpkins and gourds. What a bunch of sillies.
Between our cameras and phones we have a ton of pictures! I think that's why I stopped blogging, picture overload. So I just quit, unintentionally. Every so often when I take pictures with the kids I do "one take", one picture to capture the moment and whatever I get the first time around is how we remember the occasion. The candidness of the shot takes me back to a time when we used to get excited to go get film developed. But don't be fooled I will still be posting a lot of pictures all having to do with pumpkins (and we haven't even gone to the patch with preschool yet :)). Enjoy!
Right after we got home with the first round of pumpkins. This is a "one take" gem!
Graham, individual "one take".
Penny, individual "one take".
Scooping out the guts, he was really excited to do that part this year.
G practicing his photography skills.
The finished product.
At Wagner Farms picking out more pumpkins and gourds.
This lady loved hauling all over.

Stay tuned. I just might start blogging again...
