This month G explored what it would be like to photograph himself (his finger) as well as the objects he was wanting to photograph. He succeeded.

Graham has really taken to taking pictures with our old camera. I'm so lucky to get to model for many of his photo shoots. These are all of his February shots. Start getting excited for the end of the month so you can see what he has done in March.

We start out with the "mom sitting on the counter" shots.

Then we move to the "block buildings".

This is his "fort" where he sleeps.

And lastly his "hoop art". He did this all on his own one day while I was getting Penny to sleep.

Pretty tricky stuff if you ask me.

New old chair

We fancied up this chair over the weekend. It was our first attempt at recusing furniture. It's our new computer chair and we love it! No more huge, heavy, kitchen table chair at the computer, yay! We still need to paint the off white for a more polished look but that can wait.

It's Valentine's Day!

You can read the title of this post, "It's Valentine's Day", as if you were saying "It's Groundhog's Day" (from the movie Groundhog's Day). Groundhog's Day is what Valentine's Day has started to feel like around here. Ryan has been out of town working the last 3 of 4 Valentine's Days. But he more than makes up for it before, during and after he gets back. This year he had all kinds of secret presents for us, for Valentine's Day and just because. He's so great!!!

It's tradition for me to take pictures of me and the kids on Valentine's Day (and St. Patrick's Day). I don't know why I do it, probably because they are non major holidays and I wouldn't have pictures otherwise. So here are some pictures, past and present. Happy Valentine's Day everyone!

There was a meltdown during our group shot, this was the best we could do.

McCall weekend

Last weekend we went up to McCall for the Winter Carnival. It was a quick trip but it was a fun mini family vacation.
