Spare Time

This is what the Smiths have been up to since the end of July. People always ask, "So what have you been up to?" I never know how to respond. Do I dive into a conversation about Stayweirdboise.com? Or do I just say "oh, you know, the usual." (And by usual I mean crocheting my fingers off every night.) We have had such a fun time doing all of these little projects the last few months. The piano is now back in our garage for the winter (and dirty as heck, I thought I would want it in my front room when we got it back but no sir, to the garage it went).

Our first Stayweirdboise bike.
Our Stayweirdboise trike. I like to think of this as our Olympic trike. I did this one in a week while watching the Olympics, it was a very patriotic time for me.
The infamous Stayweirdboise Public Piano.
The Stayweirdboise Public Checkers table.
Graham getting his checkers on.
Soon to hit the streets on game day, Stayweirdboise Rocking horse "Bronco". He is nearly finished, we just need to add signs and fix up his hair a little.
And this is what the Smith family does in their spare time.

My goodness, I guess this is a talent everyone has been hiding in the Smith household! I love the ideas, I can't wait to see what more comes and I am also kinda sad the piano didn't make it into the house. STAY WEIRD BOISE!

How do we live so close and never see each other? When the piano comes out in the spring let me know and we'll do lunch!

Another thought...let's all meet up and go see some christmas lights (idaho botanical garden?) this winter. If your parents come out to visit that would be fun to see them too.
