Here are some pictures to wrap up our fun month.
Playing at the park.
Getting cleaned up.
Going to the water park. Graham and I went to Roaring Springs with my sister in-laws, Jamie and Megan and their kids and of course Grandma came to help too.
Graham loves water! And apparently he also really likes popcorn chicken from the snack shack.
Ellie, Jamie, Megan, Landon, Graham and Brayden. Livi, Brooklyn and Grandma managed to sneak out of this picture.
Megan and Landon catching some sun.
Exploring the river.

Extended Smith Family Reunion
At the beginning of the month we went down to Utah for Ryan's Smith family reunion.
Grandpa and Grandma Smith. #1 and #2 at the reunion. We all got #s at the reunion according to when we joined the family, either by birth or marriage. Ryan was #40, I was #99 and G was #120.
G sitting by his great grandpa Smith.
Grandpa Smith sporting his Boise State hat.
Huge family picture. We are in the bottom left corner.
We had a family 5k. We took 2nd in the stroller division (I won't mention out of how many strollers).
Graham showing his dad how to start a race.
Don't ask me why we look so fierce in this picture. I guess it is just our nature.
On the last night we had a family luau. Which wouldn't be complete without dancing. Which wouldn't be complete without fake tattoos.
Ryan (2nd from the right) showing his chanting and dancing skills.
Bill my father in-law (3rd from right) also showing his chanting and dancing skills.
By the end of each night G barely had any clothes on and was literally starting to climb the walls, or me.

Lagoon Part 2
Back to Lagoon (which was now almost a month ago).
So I really love carousels. I was so excited to take Graham on the carousel because he actually seemed interested in it when we walked by. So we got all strapped on this bird (above). Then, problem #1, the carousel woman walks by and says "one per seat." Are you kidding? So we had to ditch the bird because now I would have to hold Graham on the seat while he rode and I didn't want to hold him on one that went up and down. So we found this lovely giraffe that stood still.
Problem #2 he wouldn't sit on it unless I was sitting on it. Which led to us both standing on the carousel. You may ask "Tess why didn't you just sit in one of those booth/bench things?" My answer because those are lame if you are on a carousel. But I also always thought it was lame to just stand by an animal on a carousel. Now I feel bad for always thinking parents were so lame who just stood on carousels. I always thought saddle up already! Little did I know they had to stand by their child so they didn't fall off.
Though the rides at Lagoon were a flop for Graham he loved Lagoon-a-beach.
At the end of the day we went home and put Graham to bed (with gma and gpa listening for him) then went back for some big rides. We liked Wicked, the Colossus, and the Rocket the best. (Even though I blacked out on Colossus the first time.) Wooo hooo for Lagoon!

A puppy named Lars
For Father's Day I gave Ryan a dog of his choosing. And on Friday July 15th our puppy was old enough to leave his momma.
We named him Lars. He is a gold retriever.
Though he can be a chomper things are going well. Lars and Graham bug each other just how brothers should. Lars bites Graham and Graham sprays Lars with the hose.

Lagoon part 1
Recently we took a trip down to Utah. We decided to hit up Lagoon while we were there.
As you can see G wore a harness and leash. And no it wasn't one made for a child it was one made for a small dog that we picked up at the dollar store. I always thought it was weird to see kids on leashes until I had a kid who could outrun me. He loved having that 5 foot radius to roam around.
G's first juice experience. It went over well of course. I'm pretty pleased that we held out on juice for this long. He was a big drinker while at Lagoon.
And the boat ride...
Apparently the steering wheel and the bell were not enough to convince him that the boats were cool.
But his pacifier and softy were enough to settle the mood, along with cousin Brooklyn who comforted him and kept him from going overboard.
I know a ton of boat pictures! But it was seriously the cutest thing ever!
G is thinking: "Here is mom, better let her know how traumatizing the boat ride was."
Some cuddles after lots of excitement.
More on Lagoon coming soon...

Happy 4th of July
This year for the 4th we went to the "We the People" parade downtown. In the evening we went to the neighborhood block party. And finally we went down to the park for fireworks. We love this country and are so thankful to all those who serve and have served to protect it.
Our parade spot, right in front of the Capital building.
Doing some pre parade wandering.
Are they coming yet?
Graham held a flag the whole day. Minus nap time.
We walked in the park and the fireworks started. Talk about cutting it close.
Needless to say G slept in and is pushing a 4 hour nap as we speak.
